My birthday celebrations!
Feb. 15th, 2008 03:30 pmOkay, so as most of you know, my birthday was yesterday. ^_^ Had a great day despite classes; got everything done, didn't stress about anything, and I knew that I would be able to go out with my boyfriend that evening!
After he picked me up from class, my roommates got me all prettied up for our dinner; he was taking me to Biaggi's in Cedar Rapids, which is where he took me for my birthday last year. ^_^ Many wonderful memories there, but anyway. We went all dolled up, had a magnificent dinner complete with a tasty caramel dessert, and headed home.
On the way home, I told Aaron that I just couldn't be happier...
...and he told me to close my eyes, and slipped a box into my hand. I opened it, and saw this gorgeous tri-cut emerald ring in the velvet.
He asked me to marry him!!!!!!!!! And I said yes. ^_^ So, as of yesterday at about 10:45.... I'm engaged!
Talk about a wonderful birthday present. ^_^ I haven't been able to stop smiling since!
