I generally don't get a chance to sleep in very often. Thanks to my last semester's "must be up by 7:30 or I'm screwed" schedule, my body isn't quite used to this "Oh, I can wake up at nine and still be okay" malarkey I've got going on now that I no longer have to take classes evar again.

But still. I was looking forward to waking up at 8:30, only to be woken up at seven by **WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM WHAM** outside my window. Apparently, the maintenance man thinks none of us sleep in. EVAR.

And he's still going at it. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PUT UP AN AWNING, YOU MORON?!?!

Ohhhh yeah, one of my coworkers who works graveyard (so our shifts overlap by, like, an hour and a half every morning) had a terrible time with some construction workers a few months ago who, well, had to do some construction on the building next door! It was their job! Little knowing that my poor coworker had just gotten home and fallen asleep an hour ago. She went outside and cried at them.

Me, I have problems with my neighbors being a little noisy at night when I'm trying to fall asleep. Not super noisy just, you know, normal things like. . . standing outside and talking! Or, uh, shutting a car door! But what can I do? Yell at them? "KEEP IT DOWN, WILLYA? SOME PEOPLE NEED TO GO TO BED AT EIGHT O' CLOCK AT NIGHT!"

Well, the pounding I can sorta tolerate... it's the fact that my maintenance guy is a very perverted creepy!Santa maintenance guy that makes me cranky. He was on a ladder and was peeping in my roommate's room at one point... I'm just glad that I'm the next bedroom over. **shudder**
